“Conditions are very good, a golf course is really good and the greens much faster than we know at home. There is also much more heat and sun. This tournament is well organized by the Finnish Golf Union and it seems to be going to be að fun competition. Being involved in such a way isvery important for our younger players, them being able to try their best in challenging situations and against strong foreign competitors. Some of them are taking part for the first time abroad and for them the goal is primarily to gain experience, while others are already ahead and have some experience abroad and high expectations,” said Úlfar Jónsson

Last year Fannar Ingi  Steingrímsson, GHG garnered 3rd place in the category of boys 14 years and younger and this year this was topped by Gísli Sveinbergsson, who claimed 2nd place in the category of boys 15-16 yrs.
