Íris Katla met Iceland´s favorite: Adam Scott
No. 11 in the world rankings Adam Scott met 23 year old Iris Katla Guðmundsdóttir, from the Golf Club of Reykjavík (GR) and the accompanying picture was taken on that occasion:

The photo was taken on a practice round of PGA Tour players who are competing in the Wells Fargo Championship this week, which as usual takes place at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Iris Katla just graduated from Queens University in Charlotte, where she played for three years with the women´s golf team, “The Royals.”
Iris Katla was with her family, who are all avid golfers and came especially from Iceland to attend her graduation, watching the PGA Tour players exercise at the Wells Fargo tournament.
Iris Katla said the following about the picture of Adam Scott and her: “… it took me about 4 holes to gather the courage to ask him for a photo! So I was just ecstatic after he touched me and agreed to having our photo taken!
The Masters Champion Adam Scott, was so nice to take time of from his busy workout and have a photo taken with Iris Katla.
Adam Scott is actually one of the most popular golfers in Iceland so Iris Katla is the envy of all (female golfers) here in Iceland.
