Sunna T-14 in the European Girls Team Championship – Stefán Már and Þórður made the cut at the Bayreuth Open
Sunna Víðisdóttir from the Golf Club Reykjavík (GR) participates along with 5 other girls, Anna Sólveig Snorradóttir, GK; Guðrún Brá Björvinsdóttir, GK; Guðrún Pétursdóttir, GR; Högna Kristbjörg Knútsdóttir GK and Særós Eva Óskarsdóttir GKG, in the European Girls Team Championship, which is being held at the St. Leon Rot golfcourse in Germany. She is doing best of the Icelandic team, is now T-14 out of 120 contestants, from 20 different countries. Team Iceland is in 18th place.

Two of our pro´s, Stefán Már Stefánsson and Þórður Rafn Gissurarson, both from Golf Club Reykjavík (GR) are also competing in Germany, at the Bayreuth Open, which is part of the German EPD Tour. Both of them made the cut today, the cutting line being drawn by 2 over par. Þórður Rafn barely made it, had a combined score of 1 over par (71 74), but Stefán Már on the other hand fared very well today had a round of 69, 3 under par and a combined score of 1 under par (74 69). Stefán Már is now T-26 and Þórður Rafn T-38.
