Birgir Leifur Hafþórsson didn´t make the cut at the 2nd stage PGA Q-school at Plantation

The Icelandic golf professional Birgir Leifur Hafþórsson, took part in the 2nd stage of Q-school at the Plantation Preserve Golf Course & Club, in Plantation,  Broward County, in South-Florida.   You can see Plantation´s homepage by CLICKING HERE:

Q-school at Plantation was held the 13th through 16th of November 2012. Only the top 19 and ties made it to the final stage.

Birgir Leifur Hafþórsson finished at a combined score of 3 over par, 286 strokes ((70 73 70 73) and finished in 70th place of 74 contestants.

Rob Oppenheim from Orlando, Florida, won with an accumulated score of 21 under par, 263 strokes (63 67 66 67). Most of the 19 who made it through the Plantation qualification i.e. 6  were from Florida.
