Birgir Leifur T-58 in Pléneuf and Tinna T-39 in Kristianstad

Two Icelandic golf pro´s are playing abroad this weekend on tournaments in France and Sweden.

Birgir Leifur Hafsteinsson carded a score of 73 strokes and is T-58 at the first round of the ALLIANZ Open Côtes d´Armor Bretagne tournament, which is part of the Challenge Tour.  Participants in the tournament are 156. The tournament takes place on the Golf Blue Green Pléneuf Val André Golf Couse in Pléneuf, France.

Tinna Jóhannsdóttir on the other hand is taking part in the Kristianstad Åhus Ladies Open, in Sweden, the tournament being  part of the LET Access Series. Tinna is T-39 along with 9 others. She played +4 over par and used 76 strokes. Tinna got 2 birdies an unnecessary double bogey and  4 bogeys.

With good rounds tomorrow there is a good chance of Birgir Leifur and Tinna making the cuts in their respective tournaments.
