The 16th at Golf Club Borgarnes in Iceland

One of the landmarks of the PGA Tour in the US, in fact the no.1 landmark according to the PGA Tour (click HERE) is the par-3, 137 yards (125 meter) 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass, in Ponte Vedra, Florida, where golfers have to hit their ball on a “an island” green which is almost completely surrounded by water.  The course is the venue for the venerable Players tournament on the PGA Tour, held this year on May 10th – May 13th. Iceland´s answer to TPC´s Sawgrass´17th is the par-3 16th hole at Golf Club Borgarness (abbreviated: GB) in Iceland. Borgarnes is about an hours drive away from Reykjavík and is Read more
