An Icelandic golfsong: „I will miss her” by Bronz
It´s not every day that an Icelandic band makes a song about golf. The Bronz band has a song out that´s called „I will miss her” racounting the ever so critical choice a husband/or for that matter anyoune in a relationship, has to make now and then between spending time with his wife or playing golf. That song will probably be played at the Bulls Boys Night Out, which is to be held in about a weeks time i.e. on February 20th 2015. The Masters and Northern Lights?
The 2015 Masters major will be held during the week of Monday, April 6 through Sunday, April 12. It´s probably the dream of every golfer to, at least once in their lifetime, to visit Augusta National and watch the brilliant golf magic of the world´s best…. and eat a pimiento cheese sandwich while there. For golfers on the mainland in Europe a good choice is to travel with Icelandair to one of their destinations, for example to Orlando and then fly up to Augusta or New York and fly down south. And why not make a Northern Lights stop in Iceland and/or bathe in the Blue Lagoon before heading to Read more

Icelands Top-10 Waterfalls
Here is a great video clip of the Top-10 Icelandic Waterfalls CLICK HERE TO SEE: Among them, of course, is the beautiful Golden Waterfall, which everyone should make a point to see at least once in their life. The good thing about these waterfalls you can play golf and find some great golf courses in the vicinity of each of these waterfalls. Only a 10 minutes drive from the Golden Waterfall for example is the great Geysir golfcourse, a very demanding 9 hole course. If you´re not on the fairway, but out in the rough, you´re lost. If you go to see the power-waterfall Dettifoss in the North of Iceland Read more

Iceland´s Ugly Food Festival (Þorrablót) started Jan 23rd 2015
In the latest Iceland Times there is an interesting article about the „Ugly Food Festival” in Iceland; in Icelandic called Þorrablót. Þorri being the old Icelandic word for winter – að the noun blót meaning festival so actually instead of the insulting „Ugly Food Festival” – Þorrablót should be referred to as the Winter Food Festival in Iceland. The food served on a Þorrablót isn´t perhaps very appetizing to foreigners – but it reminds us Icelanders what we had to eat while under the control of another nation, when we weren´t free … and that is an ugly situation to be in. What is being servered at the Winter Food Read more
