The difference between golf in the North and South of Iceland in January 2013

Tomorrow, Saturday, January 19th 2013 there is the 2nd golf tournament scheduled in Sandgerði in the South of Iceland, this year, 2013.

Already 100 golfers have entered the tournament, which will be held if the weather allows.

The forcast says it is gonna rain a little and the temperature will be around 0-5°C (about 32-41° Fahrenheit).

In the North, East and West of Iceland everything, including golf courses are covered in snow and there is no chance to play golf unless in golf simulators, which are extremely popular during this time of year.
