Þórður Rafn victorious at Calcot Park
Þórður Rafn Gissurarson, (short: Thor Gissurarson) from Golf Club Reykjavík in Iceland, won his first tournament as s a pro at the Jamega Pro Golf Tour in England.
The tournament took place in this preceding weekend (June 29th-30th 2014) at Calcot Park and participants were 74. This was a 36-hole event.
Þórður Rafn played a total of 5-under-par 135 strokes. (67 68); one stroke better than Simon Griffiths and Craig Hinton from England, both of whom were at 4 under par, each.
Þórður Rafn received a winners check in the amount of 4000 pounds (approx. 770,000 Icelandic kronas).
